Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Content Lead (Office of the CEO) to join our remote team. The Content Lead (Office of the CEO) will work closely alongside the CEO to capture, create, and amplify high-impact content that strengthens the CEO’s voice, builds brand presence, and brings the company’s story to life across digital platforms and live experiences. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a startup tech environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own and execute real-time content creation for the CEO, capturing insights, meetings, travel, and day-to-day moments, and turning them into high-quality LinkedIn posts, videos, and thought leadership
  • Build and scale the CEO’s online presence across social and professional platforms through compelling storytelling and consistent content execution
  • Capture, edit, and publish engaging short-form and long-form content, including videos, written posts, event coverage, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Proactively identify content opportunities and translate conversations, meetings, and experiences into engaging narratives and brand-building content
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including views, engagement, follower growth, and audience trends, to continuously improve content strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to shape messaging, voice, and personal brand presence
  • Support conference attendance, external events, and travel by capturing live content and creating real-time social media coverage
  • Operate alongside the CEO across meetings, travel, and day-to-day activities as a seamless extension of their priorities
  • Manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and coordination of content deliverables across platforms
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging content formats to drive audience growth and engagement
  • Maintain flexibility to support occasional evenings and weekends as needed
  • Travel with the CEO approximately 50% of the time and be present in the New York office regularly

Requirements

  • Proven track record of creating content with measurable results, including audience growth, engagement, views, or reach
  • Active portfolio, personal brand, social presence, or examples of published content required
  • Strong video content creation skills, including filming, editing, and producing high-quality content for social platforms
  • Comfortable both on camera and behind the scenes, with the ability to quickly turn ideas into engaging content
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills with a strong understanding of audience engagement
  • Strong creative instincts and ability to identify compelling moments and narratives in real time
  • Exceptional artistic, creative, and visual eye, with an existing portfolio showcasing visually compelling and high-quality content creation across digital platforms
  • Experience managing content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or similar channels
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-visibility environments with a high level of ownership and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Professional presence and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with executives, partners, and external stakeholders
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City, with the ability to be in-office frequently
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

Salary range $85,000 to $100,000, DOE; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A range of benefits may include equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off, may be provided as part of the compensation package.
