I have an opportunity for "ELK Architect - REMOTE " and I am looking for a candidate who can join Immediately if you are interested, reply to me with your updated resume or if you could refer someone I would really appreciate it.
Position : ELK Architect (ElasticSearch)
Location: 100 % Remote
Duration: 6 to 12 Months
Top requirements:
• Expert in setting up elastic cluster from scratch
• Decommissioned and commissioning servers
• Provide guidance on Elastic and new features.
• Financial domain not required
• Different versions 6 7 8 elastic plan to update to latest 8._
• Architect level position....not an admin but architect to set up new routines, cluster expansions...decom and comm. On the backend to set up a cluster.
• Backfill had to let a person go that was hired a few months ago.
• Possible 3 levels of interview:
o Interview to understand experience
o Level 2, more tech reqs
o Possible 3rd level
Description:
Qualifications
7+ years of experience of the ELK Stack: ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana. Good to have Ruby and/or Python, GIT and ETL Knowledge Candidate will be responsible for:
1. Maintaining and supporting Elasticsearch cluster.
2. Creating cluster from the scratch
3. Decommissioning and Recommissioning servers
4. Analyzing , troubleshooting the issues with the clusters.
5. Working with the Elastic Stack.
6. Evaluating existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, security and administration.
7. Maintaining appropriate infrastructure to maintain performance and data integrity.
8. Keeping Elasticsearch clusters upgraded.
9. Following the best practices
10. Ensuring appropriate monitoring & alerting of Elasticsearch
11. Understanding of Networking to support the network related pipelines
