This is a full-time position designed for a remote work environment that allows you to maintain a work-life balance while effectively supporting our clients from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. Our outpatient office structure ensures that you will play an instrumental role in creating accessible mental health services for a diverse population.

• Conduct initial assessments to understand each patient's specific mental health needs and develop customized treatment plans that promote healing and growth.
• Provide compassionate therapy sessions—whether individual, couple, or family therapy—utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other interventions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure integrated and holistic client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and client interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision, ongoing training sessions, and professional development opportunities to sharpen your therapeutic skills and stay abreast of latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Participate in community outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness and accessible treatment options.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and ensure the confidentiality of all client information.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse array of clients, including adults, children, and families from various backgrounds. Your expertise will guide clients dealing with a range of issues such as relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Your understanding and respect for cultural differences will play a significant role in successful therapy outcomes.

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active LMFT licensure in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with proven ability to manage a caseload effectively.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations within a therapeutic context.
• Familiarity with diagnosis and treatment planning using the DSM-5 framework.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a remote work setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling purposes.

• Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care approaches is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in community mental health outreach programs.
• Skills in conducting workshops or support groups related to relationship enhancement or family dynamics.
