• Conduct thorough intake interviews to accurately assess clients' needs, presenting issues, and overall mental health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals, interventions, and expected outcomes.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions tailored to address a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and substance abuse.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, encouraging peer support and collaborative learning among participants facing similar challenges.
• Respond effectively to client crises, providing immediate support while developing safety plans as needed.
• Maintain meticulous client records, documenting therapy sessions and effectively communicating with other healthcare professionals and agencies when necessary.
• Adhere to professional ethical standards and codes of conduct, ensuring client confidentiality and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

You will be working with a diverse clientele who may experience a range of mental health issues, including those from various cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Our patients often seek support for stress management, emotional regulation, and interpersonal challenges. Your ability to cultivate a safe and respectful space will significantly enhance their therapeutic experience and success.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Must have passed the required licensing exam and currently maintain licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
• A thorough understanding of various counseling methodologies, along with the ability to apply them appropriately in diverse client scenarios.

• At least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly in settings such as community health clinics or outpatient facilities.
• Experience with electronic health record systems to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with treatment protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of age groups and community demographics.
