As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that are central to enhancing the well-being of our patients. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patients' needs, identifying unique psychological and social challenges that may arise in hospice settings.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that employ evidence-based practices, ensuring each patient receives interventions that align with their individual circumstances.
• Implementing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, to help patients cope with grief, loss, and anxiety.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards to protect patient confidentiality while ensuring accurate treatment records.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team composed of doctors, nurses, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care.
• Facilitating educational sessions for patients and their families about mental health, coping mechanisms, and available resources within the community.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through case consultations and peer feedback, actively contributing to improving our standards of care.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients and families in end-of-life care within a hospice context. This specialized focus requires not only clinical expertise but also a deep sense of empathy and cultural competency to offer support that honors each individual's values and wishes. You will be instrumental in guiding families through complex emotional landscapes, fostering a supportive environment at a critical time in their lives.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health practices.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably within a hospice or palliative care setting, underscoring your readiness for the challenges of this role.
• A solid understanding of solution-based psychotherapy techniques, allowing you to adapt your interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with patients and families while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
