As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer.This position is based out of our Reston, VA office but eligible to work remotely within the United States.
Project Summary
Utilize cloud, data, and infrastructure technologies to design, implement, and support complex enterprise solutions for global brands and federal agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Architect scalable and secure systems, develop and optimize data pipelines and stream applications to ensure high performance, reliability and data integrity.
Required For This Opportunity
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and two (2) years of experience as software engineer or related. Must have experience with designing/deploying Cloud infrastructure using reusable Terraform modules to provision kubernetes clusters, networking components, storage accounts, RBAC roles, and other Cloud services through terraform cloud for governance and automation; onboarding applications into kubernetes with Helm and GitOps (FluxCD), implementing Cloud IAM for secure pod-to-service authentication, and building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for both infrastructure and application deployments; performing Cloud networking design, including VNets, private endpoints, DNS, Application Gateway, Front Door, and API management (APIM); and deploying/maintaining multi-region workloads, testing failover, and disaster recovery processes, and automating governance through Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps.
