Job description

Position Title: Commercial Title Closing Coordinator
The role of Commercial Title Closing Coordinator is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of commercial transactions. Join a growing national commercial title company. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to manage sophisticated commercial transactions from start to finish while working with developers, lenders, attorneys and investors across the country. Salary Range: $75,000-$110,000+ / Year DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure necessary documents for real estate transactions are accurately completed, processed, and delivered to the appropriate parties based on a service level agreement
  • Review closing instructions and deliver appropriate executed documents to necessary parties (lender, realtor, seller, buyer, etc.)
  • Notify necessary parties upon file completion
  • Follow up with appropriate parties on any post-document delivery requests
  • Prepare and issue title insurance policies in accordance with company standards and regulations
  • Receive all necessary recording documents within the appropriate timeframe
  • Handle the file from start to finish, preparing pro formas and settlement statements while maintaining client contact
  • Ensure copies of all documents are recorded and the recorded versions are stored in the system
  • Maintain and update records in internal systems
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Work with parties to the transaction on finalizing the settlement statement, scheduling a notary, and ensuring that document signing is completed
  • Prepare and provide necessary information to satisfy requirements of title commitment

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial title handling commercial transactions
  • Ability to prepare pro formas on a daily basis
  • Experience preparing settlement statements on a daily basis
  • Commercial title experience in NJ, PA, NY, or FL is preferred
  • Experience coming from an underwriter or title company directly is preferred
  • Paralegal experience is preferred
