This role is fully remote, providing flexibility and comfort for both the clinician and clients. As part of a hospice center, our virtual setting allows for seamless interactions, facilitating clients’ access to vital mental health support while they navigate end-of-life challenges. With a focus on emotional healing, your role as an LCSW will involve developing and tailoring treatment plans to help clients cope with complex feelings surrounding illness, loss, and grief.

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to gather information on clients' mental health, background, and specific treatment goals.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy through virtual sessions, employing a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness approaches.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of hospice patients and their families, ensuring each plan is regularly monitored and adjusted as necessary.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with ethical standards and state regulations while documenting client interactions and treatment progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in social work and mental health treatment.
• Foster strong therapeutic alliances with clients to build trust and promote effective communication, encouraging emotional expression and personal growth.
• Provide practical tools and strategies, equipping clients with coping mechanisms to address the various life challenges they may face.

The clientele primarily consists of hospice patients and their families, requiring specialized understanding and sensitivity to issues related to terminal illnesses, grief, and loss. You will support individuals adjusting to life-altering changes, proactively working to improve their emotional well-being in a compassionate manner.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally with exposure to hospice or palliative care.
• Exceptional clinical skill set, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, and the application of therapeutic interventions.
• Strong empathy and interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients and families.

• Experience in the hospice or palliative care setting, providing care and support for terminally ill individuals.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote clinical interaction methodologies.
• Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to address grief, trauma, and emotional distress.
