Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain insight into clients' presenting issues, backgrounds, and treatment aspirations.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs and objectives, ensuring proactive engagement in their recovery journey.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Foster a safe, trust-based therapeutic relationship that encourages clients to explore personal challenges and aspirations.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal requirements while maintaining client confidentiality in all interactions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of current best practices and advancements in social work.
• Provide practical strategies and emotional support to help clients navigate their life challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work with a diverse clientele in a detox setting. This includes individuals struggling with substance use disorders, as well as their families, who are seeking to understand the complexities of addiction and its impact on relationships and overall mental health. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients transition through critical phases of recovery, facilitating communication and understanding among family members during this challenging time.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Two or more years of professional experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for experience in a detox or substance abuse context.
• Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to empathize and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a private practice or clinical setting focused on addiction and recovery.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities that promote emotional healing and personal development.
• Previous experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
