• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments by utilizing various evaluative tools and interviews to ascertain patients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or motivational interviewing, tailored to the needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records to track patient progress and compliance with treatment objectives.
• Engage in regular consultations and care meetings with healthcare team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and supportive resources to patients and their families, equipping them with tools and strategies for managing mental health challenges and facilitating recovery.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment to continually enhance your clinical skills.

As an LCSW or LSCSW at our Detox Center, you will primarily work with patients experiencing substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health issues. You will support a wide range of individuals, from adolescents to adults, who seek assistance through detoxification and rehabilitation. Your expertise and empathetic approach will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys, emphasizing both physical and psychological well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.
• A valid LCSW or LSCSW license in the state of Kansas is mandatory.
• Proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to connect with diverse populations effectively.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health or substance abuse setting.
• Familiarity with detoxification processes, crisis intervention strategies, and group therapy facilitation.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting is highly desirable.
