This full-time LCSW position allows for remote work flexibility, offering you the freedom to set your own schedule while maintaining a balance with your professional and personal life. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team, functioning from the Detox Center and connecting with patients throughout Georgetown, Texas, and beyond. • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial evaluations to understand patients' needs and barriers to treatment, ensuring comprehensive support and effective discharge planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing both individual and group therapy modalities, adjusting interventions based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of social work activities and treatment outcomes in patients' medical records, adhering to departmental standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to provide insights on the patient's psychosocial well-being, aiding in the design of holistic care plans that promote treatment compliance and coordination.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health practices and the resources available, supporting their understanding and engagement in their own care.
• Advocate for patients' needs within the community, focusing on improving access to social support and healthcare resources.
• Stay informed on current trends and community resources, ensuring that patients receive the best support available.
• Participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance clinical expertise and stay updated on best practices in psychosocial care.

Our ideal LCSW will engage with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Understanding the unique needs of these populations, you will apply culturally sensitive approaches tailored to their specific life stages and circumstances. Your focus will be on promoting self-determination and resilience in clients while addressing environmental factors affecting their mental health.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current LCSW licensure from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Strong foundation in social work practices as outlined by the NASW Code of Ethics.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that is considerate of aging processes and cultural variations.

While not mandatory, a minimum of one year of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with diverse patient populations, is highly desirable. Training in trauma-informed care and experience with community resources will be seen as an added advantage, allowing you to better serve our patients.
