This position will be performed in a remote setting allowing for flexibility while ensuring a supportive telehealth experience for both staff and clients. Our outpatient office, while primarily remote, is equipped with the tools and technology necessary to promote effective counseling and collaboration among team members. As a remote employee, you will have access to a robust, user-friendly digital platform used for client management and therapy sessions.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and interviews to form accurate evaluations.
• Deliver individualized one-on-one counseling services, assisting clients in managing various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, including support groups and psychoeducational activities, to foster community and healing among clients.
• Develop, implement, and review personalized treatment plans that outline clear therapeutic goals and actionable interventions tailored for each client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, utilizing risk assessment techniques and coordinating emergency services when client safety is at risk.
• Stay informed about changes and advancements in mental health through ongoing training and professional development opportunities, participating in workshops, webinars, and community events.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal client outcomes.

Your primary responsibility will be to support a diverse clientele who may present a variety of mental health challenges. You will work with adults and adolescents from various backgrounds, providing culturally competent care that respects individual differences and experiences. • A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Washington.
• Completion of three years of supervised clinical experience, aligning with state regulations.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and counseling skills, effective in building rapport with clients and establishing trust.
• Ability to conduct thorough evaluations that guide treatment planning and implementation.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of evolving practices in mental health.

• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic practices such as trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, or family therapy are highly desirable.
• Experience in telehealth counseling is a plus, given the remote nature of this position.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to maintain efficient client documentation and session management.
