This role is set within a virtual framework, allowing licensed counselors the flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients across various platforms. As a component of our Community Health Clinic operations, you will interact with multidisciplinary teams while fostering a supportive atmosphere. Our outpatient counseling services structure enables you to work on an appointment basis, accommodating clients' scheduling preferences.

• Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations, necessary for developing customized treatment plans that align with each client's specific challenges.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches to address the complexities of mental health.
• Collaborate effectively with a range of healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver well-rounded care and improve treatment outcomes.
• Maintain organized and precise clinical records that comply with ethical guidelines and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and accountability in all client interactions.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health research to enhance your practice.

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Your expertise will be vital in providing therapeutic support tailored to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, enriching their journey toward healing and achieving emotional stability.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical practices and legal regulations pertinent to mental health services.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively build rapport and therapeutic alliances with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Experience working with specialized populations such as trauma survivors or couples is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in managing electronic medical records (EMR) and familiarity with various clinical documentation software is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team framework and actively engage with multidisciplinary care professionals.
