• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify symptoms and complexities related to mood disorders and interpersonal challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to each client's unique history, goals, and progress.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions, fostering understanding and resilience.
• Utilize therapeutic approaches such as structural family therapy, narrative therapy, systems therapy, or transgenerational methods to enhance client engagement.
• Regularly track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Document all client interactions and treatment details in a secure, confidential manner, adhering strictly to HIPAA standards.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and case review sessions to share insights and collaborate on best practices for client care.
• Advocate for client needs within the broader community, combating stigma around mental health issues and promoting positive mental health awareness.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist at our clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse population, including families, couples, and individuals grappling with various mental health issues. Our clients may present with mood disorders, anxiety, relational conflicts, and more. Your role will significantly influence their journey toward healing and growth, requiring you to employ a holistic and empathetic approach to therapy.

• Current and active California LMFT license is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities is desirable, with an emphasis on family-focused approaches.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
