Position Overview

The Center for Transitional Living, Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to document client symptoms, establish treatment goals, and monitor progress in relation to mood disorders and other mental health challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches that reflect their unique circumstances.
• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions for families and clients, deepening their understanding of mental health issues and available therapeutic strategies.
• Regularly track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure the most effective care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in regular team meetings, training, and case consultations to enhance your skills and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Serve as a mental health advocate within the community, working to eliminate stigma and promote awareness of vital mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at the Center for Transitional Living, you will provide care to a rich tapestry of clients—spanning various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and mental health concerns. Your role will involve working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family dynamics, and other significant life transitions. By connecting on a personal level and implementing culturally sensitive approaches, you will help clients achieve their therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Active California LMFT license is a must.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and active listening skills.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic approaches and their application in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience working as an LMFT, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex clinical cases.
• A background in community health settings is a plus, providing insights into diverse client needs and service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
