• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive client outcomes.
• Provide education and support to clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress diligently and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and evolving client needs.
• Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support.
• Remain informed on the latest research and best practices related to mood disorders to refine therapeutic strategies continually.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills.
• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their unique needs are met.

Our clientele includes diverse individuals who are experiencing challenges related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will have the opportunity to work with various populations, including those who are homeless, refugees, survivors of domestic violence, and others significantly impacted by life’s adversities. • A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong empathy and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients’ experiences and struggles.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads efficiently while fulfilling administrative responsibilities.

• Experience working with mood disorders and other mental health conditions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment models and a demonstrated ability to apply them in practice.
• Prior experience in a community health or clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and digital tools for remote client engagement.

• Attractive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
