Although the role allows for remote work, our counselors remain part of a dynamic and engaged team, participating in regular meetings and collaboration using various digital communication platforms.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations using a range of evidence-based practices, including direct observation and structured interviews, to develop personalized treatment plans for every client.
• Implement and facilitate therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring techniques based on client needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Keep meticulously accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards to safeguard client information.
• Engage closely with a dedicated treatment team, participating in case consultations and peer review meetings to refine and enhance care quality.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources, promoting understanding and involvement in their treatment journey.
• Continuously stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and client outcomes.

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing various mental health challenges such as trauma, anxiety disorders, and major depressive disorders. This role is centered around creating individualized strategies that empower clients in their recovery process, enhancing their resilience and overall mental wellness.

• A master’s or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• An active and valid license to practice as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
• Proven expertise in solution-based psychotherapy interventions, enabling personalized therapeutic approaches that effectively address individual client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to build rapport quickly and empathetically with clients.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, allowing for adaptability in treatment approaches based on client feedback and progress.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team-centric environment, where mutual respect and collective growth are paramount.

• Experience in a community health setting or similar environment is highly desirable, providing valuable insight into the unique challenges faced by the client population.
• Familiarity with digital tools and telehealth platforms to deliver quality care remotely.
