Administrative Strategies is seeking an experienced Travel Insurance Claims Team Lead to lead a high-performing remote claims team while serving as a trusted partner to our clients. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep travel insurance claims expertise who enjoys coaching teams, solving complex claims issues, and driving operational excellence.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee claims operations, support employee development, manage client relationships, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Travel Insurance Claims Adjusters.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor team performance, quality, productivity, and service metrics.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex travel insurance claims and coverage determinations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary liaison for operational discussions and issue resolution.
- Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with policy provisions, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Provide guidance on Trip Cancellation, Travel Medical, and other travel protection claims.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve operational and client success.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing claims professionals.
- 5+ years of travel insurance claims experience, including Trip Cancellation and Travel Medical claims.
- Active P amp;C Claims Adjuster License.
- Demonstrated success leading teams in a performance-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a remote team.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Finance, or related field.
- Multiple state adjuster licenses.
- AIC, CPCU, or other industry designations.
- Client-facing account management experience.
