As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be expected to:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, evaluating clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges to develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy.
• Create and implement detailed treatment plans that monitor client progress and adjust interventions based on evolving needs.
• Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients and their families.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including risk assessments, safety planning, and immediate support during emotional emergencies.
• Advocate for clients' rights and connect them with essential community resources, while offering case management support for their ongoing care.
• Engage in community outreach to raise mental health awareness and build partnerships that benefit our client population.

You will work closely with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing progressive illness and their families, who may be facing complex emotional situations. Your role will emphasize understanding the unique cultural backgrounds and circumstances of each client while delivering empathetic support during critical transitions in their lives. Your efforts will enhance their mental health, resilience, and overall well-being in challenging times.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication, active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.

While not required, previous experience in a community mental health or hospice setting is preferred. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and ongoing professional development related to social work will be advantageous in this role.
