Your role will primarily support school-aged children and adolescents, enabling you to implement and adapt therapy based on the needs of young clients while collaborating with various stakeholders, including educators and families. This remote setting also allows for efficient communication through digital platforms ensuring clients receive timely and effective support.

• Act as an advocate for clients, facilitating access to community resources, social services, and essential support systems to enhance their quality of life.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when required, ensuring client safety, stability, and a conducive environment for recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Conduct sessions focusing on developing clients' coping strategies, communication skills, and self-care techniques to empower them in managing their mental health effectively.
• Engage in community outreach and networking to cultivate referral resources and partnerships that support our mission to enhance client access to care.

This role primarily focuses on a diverse group of clients, particularly within school settings. You will be working with children and adolescents who may be experiencing a variety of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to behavioral difficulties. Your therapeutic interventions and advocacy will help these individuals navigate their challenges and improve their overall mental health and academic performance.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas, demonstrating your professional credentials.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field, laying the groundwork for your clinical knowledge.
• A minimum of four years of experience in mental health, particularly in outpatient settings, showcasing your hands-on expertise.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
