• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
• Participate actively in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development process, integrating family perspectives and priorities into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor and evaluate outcomes, making necessary adjustments to services based on child progress and family feedback.
• Provide targeted emotional and behavioral support to families, facilitating a holistic approach to child development.
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations related to social work practice and early intervention services.
• Employ coaching and natural environment teaching methodologies to foster learning and development in real-life situations.
• Facilitate parent training sessions, equipping families with the tools and knowledge to support their child's development effectively.
• Build rapport with children, families, and team members to nurture an inclusive and positive learning environment.

As an LCSW at Together & Strong Counseling, you will primarily work with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Our early intervention services focus on enhancing physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during these critical early years. You will play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for children, ensuring that their unique needs guide all intervention efforts.

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Must possess a current LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license is required for potential travel to client homes or school settings.
• Strong commitment to adapting intervention strategies to meet various learning styles and developmental needs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage caseloads effectively and ensure timely follow-up.
• Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with families, team members, and external partners.
• Demonstrated respectful collaboration skills, essential for fostering a supportive team atmosphere.

• A minimum of one year of professional experience working with children in early intervention services is preferred.
• Experience implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices is highly valued.
