Work Environment

This position is fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home in Arlington, Texas, while still actively participating in a supportive and collaborative virtual environment. You will have access to digital tools and resources that enable effective communication and teamwork among staff and clients. Our Hospice Center setting allows for specialized care where you can make a significant difference in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs and determine appropriate interventions.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to guide the holistic care of each child.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and ensure that outcomes align with established goals.
  • Engage with families by establishing rapport and providing emotional support to enhance their involvement in their child’s developmental journey.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to recommend strategies and interventions according to the Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Deliver ongoing support to families, including education on child development and resources available to them.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to social work and mental health services.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes for children.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on children aged zero to three years, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays. By leveraging early intervention strategies, you will enhance their capacity for learning and development across physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication domains. Your advocacy will support families as they navigate challenges and celebrate achievements in their child’s growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current LCSW licensure recognized by the Department of Public Health.
  • Valid driver's license to enable transportation as required.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • A commitment to utilizing a coaching model and natural environment teaching methods.
  • Demonstrated respect for diverse experiences and backgrounds, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience of at least one year working with children in early intervention settings.
  • Ability to adapt communication and intervention styles to meet the individualized needs of children and families.
