Resilient Journey Counseling P.C is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. This full-time, remote position focuses on providing essential services to children from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or disabilities. This position is 100% remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work environment while connecting with families and colleagues across Connecticut. Our team utilizes digital tools for assessment and communication to ensure that every interaction is professional and effective. You will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative team meetings while working independently to facilitate supportive relationships with clients.

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children with developmental concerns to determine their specific needs.
• Collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized family service plans (IFSPs), ensuring that they are tailored to the developmental milestones of each child.
• Monitor and document outcomes as a key member of the team, regularly assessing progress and making necessary adjustments to support children's growth.
• Engage with families to provide guidance and resources, enhancing their skills to support their child's development effectively.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and natural learning environment strategies in coaching families and interacting with children.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding child welfare and education services.
• Build rapport with children and their families, fostering a trusting relationship that promotes open communication and successful outcomes.

This role primarily focuses on serving infants and toddlers up to age three who display developmental delays or disabilities. Our Children’s Services aim to support these young individuals in developing their physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills during a critical period of growth. Your work will be instrumental in enabling families to navigate challenges while ensuring children receive the support they need to thrive.

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current LCSW licensure issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in engaging diverse learning styles to address the individual needs of each child.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to balance caseload effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with families and team members.
• Respectful and sensitive in interactions with all stakeholders including children, families, and professional colleagues.

• A minimum of one year of practical experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to the Natural Learning Environment Practices that promote learning through everyday experiences.
