Work Environment

This role is designed for a dynamic remote work setting that is conducive to engaging through technology while providing essential early intervention services in the home or natural environment of the child. As an LCSW, you will operate within a structured framework, utilizing telehealth resources alongside traditional methods to reach and support families effectively. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the developmental needs of children.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
  • Monitor progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary based on children’s developmental milestones.
  • Provide essential support to families, equipping them with knowledge, skills, and resources to enhance their child’s development.
  • Establish and nurture rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members to cultivate a supportive and trusting environment.
  • Develop evidence-based intervention strategies that align with Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Implement child and family-centered approaches that promote developmental learning in various settings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations, contributing to a safe and supportive care environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with young children, typically ages birth to three, who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Your role will be crucial in providing early intervention services that foster physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique learning styles and needs of each child will directly impact their developmental success and long-term outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed for home visits.
  • Strong skills in adapting treatment plans to accommodate varying developmental needs and family situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
