This role offers a remote working setting, allowing flexibility while you support the valuable work done at our community health clinic based in Hartford, Connecticut. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children in need of early intervention services, ensuring all federal and state compliance standards are met.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaboratively working with families to promote their child's growth.
• Monitor and report on child development outcomes as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that every child receives tailored support.
• Provide coaching and practical strategies to families, utilizing evidence-based practices that fit the family's individual priorities and enhance learning in their natural environment.
• Build rapport with children, families, and team members, fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
• Promote health and safety for both staff and those we serve by adhering to established standards and protocols.

This position primarily focuses on serving young children with disabilities or developmental delays, particularly those aged birth to three years. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be instrumental in supporting families navigating the early developmental stages, ensuring that each child's unique needs are adequately addressed through individualized plans.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Connecticut Department of Public Health is essential.
• A valid driver's license is required to facilitate potential home visits or community engagements.
• Confidence in adapting treatment strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and families from various backgrounds.

• A minimum of one year of experience in early intervention focused on child development is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Proficiency in a second language is encouraged, particularly Spanish, to enhance service delivery to our diverse community.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
