  • Oversee and develop leaders across Finance and Operations functions
  • Represent LTSE with current and prospective investors, regulators, and key stakeholders
  • Act as enterprise DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for operationalizing strategic initiatives
  • Provide guidance and direction for other functions as defined by the CEO

Key Responsibilities
I. Financial Strategy & Capital Stewardship
Strategic Finance & FP&A
  • Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and long-range modeling
  • Ensure executive-level clarity around resource allocation, burn rate, revenue trajectory, and profitability path
  • Elevate sophistication of modeling, scenario planning, and decision-support capabilities
  • Provide concise financial insights to guide enterprise strategy
Fundraising & Investor Leadership
  • Lead preparation and execution of fundraising and capital strategy initiatives
  • Own investor-ready financial narrative, projections, and diligence materials
  • Serve as primary financial interface with investors and Board
  • Ensure finance infrastructure meets institutional investor standards
Accounting, Controls & Governance
  • Oversee all accounting, reporting, audit, treasury, and compliance functions
  • Ensure strong internal controls and regulatory compliance in a highly governed environment
  • Maintain Board-level confidence in financial integrity and risk management
II. Enterprise & Operations Execution
Strategy Operationalization
  • Translate enterprise strategy into actionable operational plans
  • Establish and drive company-wide KPIs and accountability structures
  • Lead annual operating planning and performance management cadence
Operational Excellence & Performance
  • Oversee cross-functional operations to ensure alignment with enterprise goals
  • Improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  • Identify and remove enterprise-level roadblocks impacting execution
Risk Management & Governance
  • Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks across the enterprise
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed to minimize business risk
  • Oversee integrated Board narrative, materials, and execution support
III. Enterprise Performance & Value Creation
  • Drive revenue growth while managing burn rate and capital efficiency
  • Support advancement toward profitability goals
  • Ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively and on timeline
  • Foster a performance-driven culture across all teams

Performance Outcomes
Success in this role will be measured by:
  • Executive team clarity in financial and operational decision-making
  • Revenue growth, disciplined burn rate, and measurable advancement toward profitability
  • Successful execution of strategic initiatives that advance enterprise value
  • No major audit, regulatory, compliance, or operational breakdowns
  • Strong Board and investor confidence in financial and operational leadership

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Deep experience as a CFO with ownership of FP&A, fundraising, GAAP/non-GAAP reporting, and capital strategy
  • Demonstrated experience leading operations or having Operations report into Finance
  • Proven ability to scale organizations and operationalize enterprise strategy
  • Strong financial and operational data fluency; ability to translate insights into execution
  • Exceptional executive communication and Board presentation skills
  • High integrity and experience operating in regulated or high-compliance environments

Educational & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in a demonstrated, executive leadership capacity
  • Experience serving as a CFO in a high-growth, venture-backed organization
  • Prior experience overseeing Operations, or serving in a combined CFO/COO or enterprise integrator role
  • Experience in financial services, exchanges, fintech, or regulated industries strongly preferred
  • CPA strongly preferred
