Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in various essential activities, including:

• Conducting ethical, compassionate mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat.
• Implementing solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to clients' specific needs and circumstances.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique goals and challenges of each client.
• Helping clients gain insights into their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitoring client progress throughout their treatment, adjusting approaches as needed to foster growth and healing.
• Facilitating the development of positive coping mechanisms and life skills that empower clients in their daily lives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on serving stable, low-acuity adults who seek support for a wide array of mental health concerns. You will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in their lives by providing tailored interventions that address their specific challenges and aspirations. The objective is to assist clients in building resilience and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and unrestricted license in the state of Washington, specifically either:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses, nor any recent disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong empathetic disposition.
• Proficiency in technology with strong computer literacy skills.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, candidates with additional experience in teletherapy and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities will be viewed favorably. Applicants who demonstrate a background in trauma-informed care or have specialized training in specific mental health issues may also stand out for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 90,000 and 104,000 annually, dependent on your chosen hours and case load. In addition to the supportive work environment, we provide numerous benefits, including:
