As part of our outpatient facility, you will work alongside a collaborative and supportive team of mental health professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans that guide their therapeutic journey.
• Provide individualized, one-on-one counseling sessions, addressing issues that include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, fostering a community of support and psychoeducation to help clients navigate their mental health challenges.
• Develop actionable, personalized treatment strategies that set clear, measurable goals and incorporate evidence-based interventions.
• Respond to clients in crisis by providing immediate support, executing risk assessments, and coordinating emergency interventions when necessary.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training workshops and staying abreast of the latest advances in mental health care.
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to client care.

Your work as a counselor will primarily focus on a diverse client base, including individuals battling anxiety disorders, depression, trauma histories, substance use issues, and various other mental health concerns. This role calls for a deep understanding of various therapeutic methodologies, enabling you to provide effective, empathetic care that meets each client's unique needs.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Washington is essential.
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, involving the completion of supervised clinical hours as mandated by state regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal and counseling skills, allowing for effective connections with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing professional education and development to maintain current licensure and best practices in the field.

• Specialized training or certifications in trauma therapy, addiction counseling, or family therapy may provide an advantageous edge.
• Experience with remote counseling tools and telehealth platforms to deliver effective care in a virtual setting.
