Job description

Job Summary

Aptive Resources is seeking board-certified electrophysiologists and cardiologists to join our team in supporting patients with heart conditions. The primary role of these specialists is to provide remote overread services for end-of-summary reports generated by wearable medical devices for patients with heart conditions. This opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on the care of veterans by ensuring accurate readings and clinical expertise in cardiac health on a remote basis.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide expert overread services for cardiac-related diagnostics and scans, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and other cardiology-related studies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
  • Ensure accurate and timely interpretation of diagnostic studies to assist in patient management.
  • Maintain certification in the same state as the site requesting overread services.
  • Adhere to all guidelines and standards for remote overreading services.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a board-certified electrophysiologist or cardiologist.
  • Hold current and active medical licensure in a US state or compact license
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise diagnostic reports.
  • Familiarity with remote diagnostic tools and technologies.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of clinical excellence and patient care.
  • Overread physicians must maintain state licensure for the site requiring overread services.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience with remote diagnostics or telemedicine is preferred but not required.
