Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Cardiologist to join a reputable multi-specialty practice in Brooklyn for a remote role. This flexible 1099 contractor position is designed for physicians specializing in diagnostic interpretation, offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced cardiologists and recent graduates. Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) specialized in Cardiology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Must possess an active, unrestricted New York State medical license.
  • Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply; experience in diagnostic cardiology or reading cardiac tests is a plus. Must have Hospital Affiliation.
  • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology. Proficiency in interpreting EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, stress tests, and other cardiac diagnostics.
  • Technical Skills: Must be able to interpret Echo, Carotid, Transcranial Doppler (TCD), Abdominal Aorta, Renal Doppler, and Lower Extremity (arterial and venous) studies.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent written communication skills for clear reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and provide diagnostic reports for cardiac tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitors.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and detailed documentation of all readings.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians within the multi-specialty practice to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance in diagnostic interpretation.
