About the Role
As Partner Success Manager, Airlines & Car Rental, you will own a portfolio of airline and car rental partner relationships - serving as the day-to-day point of contact responsible for partner health, performance optimization, and commercial execution.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Airline & Car Rental Partnerships, you will manage the operational rhythm of Engine's air and car rental supply: tracking partner performance, coordinating issue resolution, supporting commercial negotiations, and ensuring partners are activated and performing against plan.
This is not a strategy-setting role - it is a hands-on execution and relationship management role that requires strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to operate effectively across internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with
Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations to translate partnership goals into delivered outcomes.
Because this is a strategic accounts book, you will engage directly with senior airline and car rental executives. We're looking for someone who can be a credible, trusted partner externally while driving disciplined execution internally.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage a portfolio of airline and car rental partners as the primary operational point of contact, owning relationship cadence, QBRs, performance reviews, and escalations.
  • Monitor partner performance against key metrics (coverage, attach rates, booking volume, margin) and proactively identify opportunities to improve performance and drive growth.
  • Drive partner onboarding and activation for new agreements, ensuring a seamless transition from signed deal to live integration.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations to resolve issues, improve partner experience, and unblock growth.
  • Support the Sr. Director with commercial negotiations by preparing materials, tracking deal terms, and ensuring strong follow-through.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing partnerships and provide data-driven recommendations to increase partner value.
  • Maintain accurate partner documentation, records, and pipeline tracking while staying informed on travel industry trends and evolving distribution models.

What We're Looking For:
  • 4+ years of experience in partnerships account management, partnerships, relationship-driven sales, or a similar partner-facing role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple partner workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility with external partners.
  • Proven ability to develop and grow strategic partnerships through creative problem solving and strong execution.
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of how partnerships drive revenue, coverage, and customer experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and ownership of commitments.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and modern tools to streamline workflows and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience in airline partnerships, travel technology, distribution, account management, or supply operations.
  • Background at an airline, OTA, GDS, aggregator, or travel platform.
  • Familiarity with airline distribution models (GDS, NDC, ancillaries, fare structures) and/or car rental commercial models.
  • Experience with API-based distribution or connectivity platforms.
  • Experience managing QBRs or structured partner review cadences.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders through commercial negotiations.
