Job description

Role: Laboratory Supply Chain Manager
Duration: 12 months - convert to hire
Travel up to 50-75%
Experience : 5+ years


Role Description:
The lab specialist. Handles reagent/analyzer contracts, reference lab agreements, blood bank, POCT, specimen collection. Highly specialized this is NOT a general clinical supply chain role.
What They Actually Do Day-to-Day
Analyze reagent/analyzer contracts for renegotiation leverage and conversion opportunities
Evaluate analyzer platform consolidation across 6 CHSLI hospitals
Review reference laboratory contracts (send-out testing, esoteric testing, genetics)
Assess blood bank utilization, product wastage, crossmatch ratios
Conduct POCT program reviews for consolidation and vendor standardization
Work with Lab Directors, Pathologists, Medical Directors, and Technical Supervisors

Hematology/Coagulation (analyzers, reagent rental)

Can speak the language of pathologists and lab directors
