Job description

Viridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) client is seeking a Georgia-licensed Physician to support medical cannabis patient evaluations. This is a flexible opportunity independent consultant opportunity. The position is remote, with a preference for providers who may be available for afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends. Compensation is expected to be about $100 per hour.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the original professional staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm dedicated to organizations in the legal cannabis and hemp industries.

In this role, you will conduct virtual consultations with patients seeking medical cannabis recommendations. Youโ€™ll review patient information, evaluate qualifying conditions, and provide recommendations in accordance with applicable Georgia regulations. This is a 100% outpatient opportunity with no procedures and no requirement to provide your own staff, scheduling, or administrative infrastructure.

Youโ€™ll work collaboratively with the clientโ€™s administrative and clinical teams to support patients in a professional, compassionate, and compliant manner. Comfort working in a technology-enabled environment is important, as consultations and patient documentation will be completed through a secure healthcare platform.

The ideal candidate is patient-centered, detail-oriented, and interested in the potential therapeutic applications of medical cannabis. Prior cannabis experience is helpful but not required. Physicians from a variety of specialties are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must hold an active State of Georgia Physician License and be able to comply with all applicable state requirements related to medical cannabis recommendations.
