Our client is a SaaS start-up who partners with growing cannabis brands to simplify how retailers order the products they love online. They are the industry standard platform for orders, sales and relationship management.

Job Description

The Role:

We are looking for energetic self-starters to join their growing sales force in Northern and Southern California!

Market Understanding

  • Candidates will maintain an understanding of competitive technologies and our clients place in the market
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the client experience and larger industry new
  • Understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution based on our software to potential clients
  • Develop expertise in all our technologies, delivering technical support to clients and consistently over-delivering

Client Acquisition

  • Pursue clients by building relationships with potential customers. Customers will include Managers, Directors, and C - level executives responsible for the implementation of business solutions.
  • Lead price and contractual negotiations and facilitate related internal and external meetings showing leadership during the pursuit of the opportunity. Aid new clients through the setup process to take their software suite live.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships virtually and through regular site visits to ensure maximum client success

Revenue Quotes

  • Develop win plans and strategies for key opportunities; maintain relationships with key customers and engagement to up-sell clients as new features are developed.
  • Report financial forecast of the business, track signings and revenue call to targets.
  • Define and execute strategies and tactics necessary to achieve signings and revenue goals and over-achieve commitments to the business.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An optimist and positive professional, excited by challenges and ready with solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills, outgoing and sociable.
  • Worked in a fast-paced startup environment, prepared for all-hands- on-deck moments
  • 2+ years in customer relationship, sales and/or account management, ideally in the cannabis industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and excited by the potential to own what you do
  • An ability to understand and troubleshoot software issues
  • Multi-tasker and connector, an organized operator who executes on both internal and external responsibilities
  • Knowledge of key project management concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope, and tasks
