Job description

Remote B2B Appointment Setter - Leads, Scripts, and Product Training Provided

Peak Signal Technologies is looking for motivated remote B2B appointment setters to help contact businesses and schedule technology-review appointments.

This role is focused on outbound business-to-business calling. You will be reaching out to companies from provided lead lists, identifying the correct decision-maker, asking simple qualifying questions, and scheduling appointments for our advisor team.

This is a flexible, remote, 1099 independent-contractor opportunity. Compensation is commission-only. There is no hourly wage, salary, draw, or guaranteed income.

About the Campaign

Our current campaign focuses on POTS and legacy phone-line reviews.

Many businesses no longer use traditional phone lines for regular office calls, but they may still have older lines connected to important building systems such as fire alarm panels, elevator emergency phones, fax machines, security systems, gate or entry systems, emergency phones, backup phone service, or other equipment.

Peak Signal Technologies helps businesses review those older lines, understand what they support, and determine whether modern replacement options may make sense.

Your job is not to be a technical expert. Your job is to reach the right person, ask basic questions, and book the appointment.

What You Will Do

  • Make outbound calls to businesses from provided lead lists
  • Follow a call guide and appointment-setting script
  • Ask for the person who handles phone service, internet service, facilities, IT, maintenance, building systems, vendor bills, or business technology decisions
  • Ask basic qualifying questions to determine whether a review makes sense
  • Schedule appointments using our online booking system
  • Enter accurate notes about calls, contacts, callbacks, and appointment details
  • Follow up with interested prospects when needed
  • Attend training and stay aligned with the campaign process

Who You Are Calling

You may be calling businesses such as hotels, senior living facilities, property managers, medical offices, churches, schools, banks, retail locations, storage facilities, and other organizations that may have older building phone lines.

The person you are trying to reach may be an owner, administrator, office manager, facilities manager, maintenance director, IT contact, property manager, controller, bookkeeper, operations manager, or vendor manager.

What We Provide

  • Business lead lists
  • Call guides and scripts
  • Training materials
  • Appointment-booking system
  • Campaign information
  • Marketing materials
  • Support from the advisor team
  • Opportunity to grow into a larger sales or Technology Advisor role

Products and Services

Peak Signal Technologies helps businesses review and manage services such as:

  • POTS and legacy copper-line replacement
  • Fire alarm and elevator phone communication lines
  • Business internet and fiber
  • Wireless accounts and devices
  • Backup connectivity
  • Telecom billing and expense review
  • Device deployments and management
  • Other business technology services

Compensation

This is a 1099 commission-only opportunity.

  • Appointment setters may earn 30% of the net commission Peak Signal Technologies receives from opportunities they source or book that successfully close, install when applicable, and are paid by the supplier.
  • Team members who complete additional training and learn to manage more of the sales process may have the opportunity to grow into a Technology Advisor role and earn a larger total commission share.
  • Some eligible services may also include residual commissions for the life of customer contracts in your portfolio, as long as the provider continues paying Peak Signal Technologies and you remain active and in good standing.
  • There may also be provider bonus opportunities for qualified attended appointments when available.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable making outbound calls to businesses
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Able to follow a call script without sounding robotic
  • Comfortable asking for decision-makers
  • Able to handle basic objections and gatekeepers
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Able to document call notes accurately
  • Willing to complete training
  • Computer, reliable internet connection, and smartphone or calling setup
  • Availability during at least some weekday business hours

Helpful Experience

Previous experience in appointment setting, cold calling, customer service, call center work, telecom, insurance, roofing, solar, real estate, business funding, merchant services, or B2B sales is helpful.

Growth Opportunity

You can start by focusing only on appointment setting. As you learn the campaign, products, and sales process, you may have the opportunity to participate in customer meetings, assist with follow-up, help with proposals, and grow into a sales or Technology Advisor role with a larger commission opportunity.

How to Apply

Please apply through this job posting.

Qualified applicants will be invited to schedule a brief introductory meeting to review the role, campaign, compensation structure, availability, and next steps.

Please be prepared to discuss your outbound calling experience, availability during U.S. business hours, comfort with commission-only compensation, and ability to work independently.
