Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote or Hybrid or Onsite

As the Associate Manager, CRM & Marketing Automation, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing global customer engagement strategies that drive lead generation, nurturing, conversion, retention, and reactivation across the customer lifecycle throughout the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

This role serves as the business owner for CRM and marketing automation initiatives, partnering closely with marcom, marketing, sales, SDRs and digital teams to create seamless customer experiences. The individual will lead email marketing programs, customer journey orchestration, lead management processes, and marketing automation efforts while leveraging data and insights to improve business outcomes.

While CRM and marketing automation are the primary focus areas, this role is also expected to contribute as a broader digital marketing leader, collaborating with subject matter experts across web, analytics, SEO/SEM, social media, and paid media to ensure digital initiatives work together as a connected ecosystem that supports business growth.

While this role offers the flexibility to be fully remote, the individual must be located within the Eastern or Central time zones.

What you will do

  • Own and optimize the end-to-end customer lifecycle, from lead acquisition and conversion through retention and re-engagement, identifying opportunities to improve engagement at every stage.

  • Design, build, and manage scalable customer journeys, automated nurture programs, lead scoring, segmentation, and lead routing using marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce.

  • Develop and optimize lead management and sales-readiness strategies, partnering with Marketing, MarCom, SDRs, and Sales to improve lead quality, qualification, follow-up, and conversion performance.

  • Lead the strategy, development, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns, including personalization, A/B testing, experimentation, and ongoing optimization to improve engagement, conversion, and ROI.

  • Partner across digital marketing channels and subject matter experts to create connected customer experiences, including web, paid media, events, SEO/SEM, social media, analytics, and other acquisition and engagement channels.

  • Ensure strong CRM, data quality, segmentation, compliance, and governance practices, while driving consistent CRM adoption and scalable processes across customer-facing teams and global markets.

  • Analyze customer journey and marketing funnel performance, tracking key metrics such as lead volume, engagement, conversion, retention, deliverability, click-through rates, and lead progression to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a key CRM and customer journey expert within the Medical Digital Marketing team, translating data and insights into actionable recommendations, building executive-level dashboards and reporting, and helping advance digital marketing capabilities, technology, and best practices across the organization.

What you need

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 6 years work experience in Information Technology, CRM, DigitalMarketingor other related area

  • Minimum 4 yearsexperience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Marketo

  • Proficient in marketing automation technology

  • Proficient in mobile/responsive e-mail design and development

  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Adobe Analytics

  • Hands on experience with HTML,Marketo and SalesforceCRM

  • Adobe Marketo Engage Certified Practitioner Professional Certification

  • Adobe Marketo Engage Certified Practitioner Expert Certification
