Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities aimed at improving client outcomes:

  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention, risk assessment, and develop safety plans as needed to support clients in high-risk situations.
  • Maintain precise documentation of clinical encounters, adhering to ethical and legal standards, to provide a clear record of treatment progress.
  • Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to enhance therapeutic engagement and effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve diverse clientele seeking support for varying mental health concerns. You will engage with individuals, couples, and families, offering personalized approaches to foster healing. By creating a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment, you will assist clients from different backgrounds in navigating their emotional and relational challenges, promoting resilience and well-being.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and their application in practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and client assessment skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships.
Preferred Experience

Applicants with at least two years of experience working within a mental health or outpatient setting will be prioritized. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
