• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Facilitate consultations to create proactive crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans as requested.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring accuracy in clinical records.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate clients effectively and monitor their progress toward treatment goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies to foster a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and practices.
• Build and maintain strong communication channels with local and state agencies, service systems, and community partners.
• Pursue professional development opportunities including attending workshops and conferences to enhance clinical expertise.
• Promote the agency’s mission and integrate its values into daily practice, ensuring alignment with community and client needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to the evolving needs of our clients.

Our diverse clientele includes individuals facing emotional challenges, substance use issues, developmental disabilities, and brain injuries. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique circumstances and achieve their mental health goals.

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license issued by the state board of California.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records and prepare detailed reports in line with state regulations.
• Experience working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment with effective communication skills.
• Strong judgment and independent decision-making skills based on professional knowledge and experience.

• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and current trends in mental health and counseling.
• Experience in crisis intervention and developing positive behavior support plans.
• Background in addiction treatment and recovery services is a plus.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 120,000 and 140,000 annually, reflecting the importance of this role within our organization. Additional benefits include:
