Work Environment

This position is remote, giving you the flexibility to provide care from your home while still being an integral part of our interdisciplinary team. You will engage with colleagues through virtual meetings and collaborative platforms, ensuring consistent communication and teamwork. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and intake evaluations to determine the mental health and substance use treatment needs of clients.
  • Develop comprehensive, client-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique challenges of each patient, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Engage in crisis intervention, providing immediate support and stabilization for clients facing emergencies.
  • Facilitate case management by connecting clients to essential resources and community services, including housing and employment assistance.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and agency policies to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and other clinicians, to enhance client care.
  • Stay engaged in ongoing professional development through training and education to keep current with the latest therapeutic methodologies and ethical practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with substance use disorders, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • A current, unrestricted license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in providing clinical therapy services in an outpatient or healthcare setting.
  • Strong therapeutic assessment skills, with the ability to develop treatment plans that prioritize client needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Knowledge of ethical practices in clinical social work, along with an understanding of state and federal regulations.
