- Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using strategies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and case managers to coordinate integrated care plans tailored to each client's unique profile.
- Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients’ families, enhancing their involvement in the treatment process.
- Maintain compliant and confidential patient records, adhering strictly to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
This role focuses on clients who are dealing with substance abuse issues as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. Our clients come from various backgrounds and often experience significant life challenges such as trauma, social isolation, and emotional distress. By engaging with these individuals, you will play a critical role in helping them build a foundation of recovery that leads to long-lasting sobriety and improved mental health.
Qualifications- A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
- A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of addiction counseling principles and experience in substance abuse treatment is necessary.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for addressing both substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Exceptional counseling skills with the ability to forge strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

- Prior experience in a community health or substance abuse treatment setting is a plus.
