We need:
  • MID- senior Manual QA tester with experience testing in a eCommerce (selling products online like clothing, Bed Bath & beyond, luxury items ect) environment .
  • THEY MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WHERE CUSTOMERS PUT ITEMS IN A SHOPPING CART AND THEN PURCHASE THEM TO BE DELIVERED TO THER HOMES.
  • Experience in testing web, Mobile and ecommerce applications is required. Candidate must perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects as well as conduct black-box testing to validate application functionality and ensure compliance with user expectations. Test and validate functionality within multi-channel commerce or ERP systems to ensure seamless user experiences.

  • Using modern testing methodologies, they design and execute manual test cases to identify defects and ensure that applications meet specified requirements.
  • Their goal is to optimize testing efforts by thoroughly validating functionality, usability, and performance, freeing resources for more strategic tasks., you will play a critical role in preventing breaking changes from moving to production by identifying defects early, documenting issues clearly, and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
  • As a Manual QA Tester at ELC, you will execute functional test cases, work closely with the development team to ensure defect resolution, and continuously improve our testing processes and standards.
  • You will leverage manual testing techniques, including black-box testing, to meet both short- and long-term goals with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Black-Box Testing: Black-box testing focuses on validating the functionality of software without knowing its internal code or structure.
  • Testers evaluate the system based on inputs and expected outputs, ensuring that the application behaves as intended under various conditions.
  • This approach is essential for identifying defects in functionality, usability, and performance from an end-user perspective.

Qualifications and Certifications:
  • 8+ years of manual QA testing experience is a must.

  • Experience in functional and regression testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience in multi-channel commerce or ERP systems testing.
  • Experience in testing web, finance, or ecommerce applications is required.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Work experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore models is a must.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
