Location:King County, WA
Employment Type:Contract

Compensation: This role isbased on insurance reimbursements from Apple Health/Healthcare Support, with rates varying depending on the certification status of services rendered.

Overview:
Ayan Maternity Healthcare Support is seeking compassionate and culturally competent Birth Doulas to provide emotional, physical, and informational support to expectant families, with a focus on underserved and immigrant communities. This role is central to our mission of empowering parents from pregnancy through early childhood.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous support during labor and birth, including comfort measures and advocacy.
  • Educate families on birth options and help develop birth plans.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to ensure respectful, culturally appropriate care.
  • Offer prenatal visits and postpartum follow-up to assess well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to program evaluation.

Qualifications:
