What is remote big game hunting?

Remote big game hunting refers to hunting large animals—such as deer, elk, or moose—in locations that are far from populated areas and often require special travel arrangements. These hunts typically take place in wilderness or backcountry settings, sometimes accessed by plane, boat, or long treks. Remote big game hunting can offer a more challenging and rewarding experience due to the rugged terrain, limited access, and increased chances of encountering mature game animals. It usually requires thorough planning, specialized equipment, and familiarity with outdoor survival skills.
