Job Description

At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of developers. We're seeking a Power BI Developer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that's always pushing boundaries. This person will have SQL development background and Power BI development experience. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with key stakeholders to define data and reporting requirements
  • Producing and distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports to internal and external partners
  • Leading projects to further enhance data and reporting capabilities, including data quality and attributes and automation of manual processes
  • Proactively using data to generate useful insights by assessing key performance indicators & trends and presenting results to business leaders
  • Partnering with business and technical SMEs to understand relevant data, analyze and perform necessary deep dives to solve business problems, and summarize and present findings to management
  • Providing support to our business and finance stakeholders on various ongoing and ad hoc initiatives and processes.

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in business and IT program or project management
  • Experience in the Financial Services and/or Payment industries
  • Experience in data-driven management, metrics and reporting
  • Strong Excel skills, including experience with macros, complex pivot tables and charts/graphs
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build consensus
  • Hands on experience in Power BI and SQL 
  • Familiarity with VBA and Python
