Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Allied Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Our telehealth model allows us to reach individuals from various backgrounds, enhancing our impact on the community by making mental health services more accessible to those in need.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Florida.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health counseling with a thorough understanding of evidence-based practices.
  • Working proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably with AVATAR.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders as well as co-occurring physical health conditions and addiction disorders.
  • Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
