Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Allied Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a varied clientele, including individuals struggling with a spectrum of mental health issues. Your practice will cater to adults, adolescents, and families, ensuring that each client receives personalized attention and support tailored to their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
  • At least four years of relevant experience in a mental health setting, showcasing your ability to handle a diverse range of cases.
  • A strong foundation in mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and culturally responsive practices to meet the needs of our client population.
  • Excellent crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
  • A commitment to maintaining ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering therapy in both individual and group settings, utilizing trauma-informed care approaches.
  • A track record of successful collaboration within multidisciplinary health teams.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
