• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and continually monitor client progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to reflect changing needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to deliver comprehensive care and coordinate interventions.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients admitted to the hospital, ensuring continuity of care.
• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, employing proactive strategies to promote positive change.
• Support family members and caregivers in understanding mental health challenges, offering guidance on managing behavior effectively.

You will primarily work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults, presenting a wide range of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to build rapport and provide culturally competent care will be essential in meeting the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate their individual challenges and fostering a path toward recovery.

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Active and valid LMHC license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a related role, showcasing your ability to provide effective counseling services.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacological treatments and their implications in mental health care.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, active listening, and a supportive demeanor.

• Experience working in a community health setting, especially with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools, enhancing the delivery of remote counseling services.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, with an annual income potential ranging from USD 80,000 to 101,000, based on productivity and experience.
