Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough intake assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilizing the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) to formulate treatment goals and apply appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Employing a variety of counseling techniques, including individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling, tailored to the unique needs of diverse clients.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to address the psychological and interpersonal factors affecting client well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, facilitating effective case management.
  • Participating in regular clinical meetings to enhance team cohesion and share best practices for treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents, which requires an adaptable approach to meet different developmental and emotional needs. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Current and independent licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
  • Proven experience working with patients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Proficient in the use of EHR systems and telehealth technology to support remote service delivery.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical intervention skills, along with a deep understanding of human development principles.

Compensation and Benefits

Introspective Behavioral Health Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 91,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based bonus structure. Benefits include:
