Job description

Job Title: Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist (RN / Behavioral Health)

Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: Part-Time (20–24 hours/week)
Contract: 6-Month Contract with Possible Extension


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medical record reviews and quality audits to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Support quality improvement projects, reporting, and accreditation activities.
  • Analyze healthcare data, identify improvement opportunities, and develop recommendations.
  • Collaborate with providers, physicians, and internal stakeholders to improve quality outcomes.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and program documentation.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license or Master's-level Behavioral Health Professional with an independent practice license.
  • Active Behavioral Health licensure such as LPC, LCSW, LCPC, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of clinical practice experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Utilization Management, Case Management, Quality Improvement, or Project Management.
  • Experience delivering provider/member training and presentations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight stays.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Behavioral Health experience.
  • Quality Improvement and/or Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of managed care programs and accreditation standards.
