Work Environment

This role is structured around a supportive remote work setting, providing flexibility and work-life balance for our therapists. You will be engaged during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy equilibrium between professional and personal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, leading to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment strategies, considering their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your therapeutic work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Interacting with a diverse range of patients, you will develop strong therapeutic relationships and foster a supportive environment conducive to trust and healing, tailored to meet their specific cultural and personal contexts.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Virginia.
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment methodologies specifically targeting mood disorders.
