This growth reflects a strong job outlook for qualified professionals in the field.

What is a Remote Behavior Analyst job?

A Remote Behavior Analyst is a professional who applies principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to assess, develop, and implement behavior intervention plans for clients, typically individuals with autism or other developmental disorders. Job description

We're Changing the Rentals Industry

We're a profitable, growth-stage company building industry-leading martech and data products for the rentals industry. While originally known for building and operating one of the U.S.'s largest rental marketplaces - Rentable, our focus has shifted to our category-leading AI and data SaaS products with triple-digit growth rates.

We're a fully remote team of 100+ spread across the U.S. from coast to coast. We operate on a strict no a**holes policy and are proud to have built a community of highly performing people that take our work seriously, but not ourselves.

While we've raised $30MM+ to date from some of the world's best investors, we're profitable with a strong balance sheet and an indefinite runway. We pride ourselves on achieving rapid growth without having to incinerate capital.

If you like the idea of joining an industry-changing company made up of people who genuinely like each other, Rentable could be a great fit for you.

The Role

We're looking for a Staff Product Manager at ApartmentIQ — a senior individual contributor (IC) role focused on developing strategic product vision while executing hands-on discovery and delivery.

You'll identify market opportunities, define product roadmaps, and work closely with engineering, design, analytics, and data science teams to bring solutions to market. Through deep customer engagement with multifamily operators, you'll uncover needs, validate ideas, and ensure we're building products that solve real problems.

You'll balance big-picture strategic planning with tactical execution — conducting customer interviews, analyzing product metrics, defining requirements, prioritizing features, and guiding development cycles. We're looking for someone who can think broadly about where our product portfolio should go, then roll up their sleeves to make it happen.

What Success Looks Like

The strongest product managers at ApartmentIQ share a few consistent behaviors:

  • Deep customer empathy: You stay close to customers and build real relationships, not just collect feedback. You invest the time in conversations, follow-ups, and context to understand what's actually driving their decisions and pain.
  • Extreme ownership: You own the outcome end to end. Details do not slip, risks are surfaced early, and when something breaks you take accountability fast. When it goes well, you give the team the credit.
  • Bias for speed and action: Velocity is your north star. You make fast, sound calls, ship the smallest thing that proves value, then iterate based on what users actually do.
  • Obsession with quality and details: You have strong product taste and a high bar. You sweat the small stuff because that is what makes the product feel reliable, premium, and easy to use.
  • Decisive judgment: You can operate in ambiguity and make hard tradeoffs without dragging the team through endless debate. Once the decision is made, you communicate it clearly and align everyone behind it.
  • Relentless drive: You push through blockers and find paths forward. You do not accept "can't" as an endpoint, and you keep delivering meaningful customer value even when constraints show up.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from discovery to launch
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to generate business insights
  • Partner closely with engineering and design teams to rapidly develop best-in-class products
  • Define key product metrics and performance indicators to measure product success
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and maximize product impact
  • Engage deeply with customers to understand buyer and user needs, and diagnose pain points
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales on field enablement and go-to-market activities
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and optimize product execution processes
Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in product management in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup
  • Demonstrated experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and delivery with measurable business impact (e.g., through analytics, economics principles, and competitive analysis)
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable product plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
  • Strong experience with user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform product decisions
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to identifying, defining, and prioritizing problems, opportunities, and solutions
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing startup environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with project management experience
  • Passion for innovation, innate curiosity, and building products that solve real customer problems

Why Choose Us

  • Remote-First: We offer the freedom to work from home across most of the U.S. You'll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, balanced with high-energy in-person offsites to build real connections and celebrate our wins together.
  • Competitive Compensation: We believe in hiring the best and paying accordingly. You'll receive a competitive salary that reflects your impact and expertise.
  • Paid Time Off: Take the time you need with our flexible vacation policy and dedicated paid parental leave to support you and your family's biggest milestones.
  • Your Health Matters: Stay healthy with high-quality Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans for you and your family.
  • Peace of Mind (On Us): We fully invest in your security with 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Basic Life Insurance.
  • Protection for Your Whole Crew: Access supplemental insurance for the unexpected, plus specialized coverage to keep your pets happy and healthy, too.
  • Invest in Your Future: Secure your financial goals with our 401k Program, helping you build for the long term while you help us build the company.

If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation in the application or recruiting process, please contact your recruiter.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
